Keep Track of Paint Samples

When you buy a million paint samples to find the perfect color, don't try and keep them straight from memory!  My husband and I painted nearly 2000 SF in our renovated home and we found out real quick that we needed a system to keep everything straight!

Take some blue painters tape and number all of your samples. 

When you are ready to paint a color swatch on the wall, match that number with the sample can as soon as you are done painting. 

OH! And then don't forget to paint over your swatches with primer BEFORE you paint the wall with your perfect color or else they WILL show through...we learned that the hard way:).
